It was a long journey since my first ideas in March until the first public available Release now on the 12. December in 2022.
Especially the last few weeks it was a hard work due to unexpected technical trouble at my hosting provider on the one hand and on the other hand to polishing the first Release for the public audience as I ran into the mess of the Unicode support on the Windows Operating system and its API combined with it’s integration into C++🙄🤯😤.
But, finally, it is done! 😊😎
The first (Pre-)Release of TeaScript is public available.
Of course it is still not feature complete, but let yourself be surprised what you already can do with it:
✯ Everything from the Overview and Highlights section as well as from the TeaScript language documentation is available already and usable right out of the box! (See also the Core Library documentation.)
✯ TeaScript is a Multi-Paradigm script language.
✯ Try it’s Functional programming, Lambda functions, higher order functions and Uniform Definition Syntax language features!
✯ Program your scripts in a Type-Safe but generic way!
✯ Use it’s simple text file processing and string manipulation.
✯ Use the Random Number Generator, time measurement and UTC / local time clock.
✯ Enjoy the automatic number to string and string to number conversion and the in-string evaluation capabilities.
